Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spacious with a beautiful view over the river, and the bed and bed linens were top-notch. The service was exceptional, with a major accolade for their friendliness and efficiency. The location, though in need of a makeover, offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The dining experience was generally fabulous, but could improve on serving times. Overall, a great value for the price!
The hotel offers beautifully styled rooms with lots of reading material, a beautiful bathroom with fluffy towel/dressing gowns, and the most amazing views of the falls. The rooms, although a bit dated, are huge, spacious, and grandly decorated just like the rest of the hotel. The fantastic facilities in the room include a double Jacuzzi bath.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel, with comfortable and well-equipped rooms offering amazing views of the falls. The friendly and professional service made me feel truly welcomed. The location was magnificent, although the dining options were somewhat limited. The facilities were top-notch, making my visit memorable.
The hotel had not been attended to despite us having been out for several hours, to the extent we did not want to leave it. It was amazing down by the sheen river, so peaceful, and had overlooked the Falls which was beautiful. The service seemed to go for breakfast around 9.30, which meant you had to queue for a table, but we were upgraded to a beautiful suite with no charge. The staff was lovely but seemed very young and inexperienced. The location is a perfect peaceful place to relax and switch off, although it needs more lighting when you are walking to the hotel at nighttime. The dining experience had dinner and two breakfasts at the hotel, with the bar being wonderful and offering a buffet style for smaller breakfast items and a menu for cooked foods from the kitchen, although it could have more choice. The facilities were delightful.
